The Moianès Puppet Theatre Festival, aims to become an annual event of the best of this artistic genre, which, with a broad view, can be called "theatre and cinema of animation", programming all kind of activities (exhibitions, workshops, courses, conferences, shows, audio-visuals, etc.), aimed at the various age groups, reaching the maximum possible of local and regional population. Working from the first day to attract the attention of the media that, with the diffusion of the Festival and their activities, bring visitors from beyond this regional area, interested in enjoying the Festival’s program, the local services, and the Moianès environment.
For the fourth consecutive year -despite of the
difficulties we are suffering due to the COVID-19-,
the Moianès Puppet Festival has taken place, which
has grown to double the number of municipalities that host
it: Moià, Calders, Castellcir, Sant Quirze Safaja,
Castellterçol and Monistrol de Calders.
And as in previous editions, we have strived to ensure
that the quality, diversity and interest of the shows that
make up the program, to attract and make you come and stay
with us for a while to enjoy it. In a quiet and relaxed
atmosphere, have been seen first-class proposals, modern
and classic, with very different techniques and styles,
aimed at all age groups: children, families, young people
and adults. Yes, also young and adult! With the support of
the Diputació de Barcelona, Consell Comarcal and Consorci
del Moianès, as well as the six participating
municipalities and the Territorial Services of Culture of
the Generalitat de Catalunya.
